London has no shortage of sports halls and five-a-side pitches — but finding a proper indoor futsal game you can join as a solo player is still harder than it should be. WhatsApp groups fill up, venue pages go stale, and half the “futsal” listings turn out to be outdoor astro.
That is why this shortlist is different. Every venue below regularly hosts social futsal sessions on Footy Addicts — View games on Footy Addicts — so you can find a game, pay online, and turn up without already knowing a team. We have also picked spots that cover different corners of the city, so wherever you are based there is a realistic option within reach.
Each place on this list:
Ranking also leans toward venues with proper futsal goals (3×2m) where we can confirm them — that detail matters a lot to purists, even when the social game itself is excellent.
Slots and prices change week to week — always confirm the latest game on Footy Addicts before you travel.
Score is the standout facility for dedicated futsal in London: a modern indoor centre with multiple marked courts (five smaller courts on our listing), spectator seating, and changing rooms. On Footy Addicts you will regularly see evening 5v5 futsal sessions here — often organised by London Futsal League hosts — so it works whether you want a sharp midweek game after work or a more competitive social run-out.
Why it tops the list: if court quality matters to you, Score is hard to beat. Proper dimensions, futsal goals, and enough courts that the venue feels purpose-built rather than a school hall squeezed between PE lessons. It is also one of the easiest East London options if you live on or near the Central line.

South London players are often underserved for indoor futsal, which is why Harris Academy Clapham ranks high. Footy Addicts listings here have included Saturday competitive/social 5v5 sessions with proper futsal goals (2×3m) on the sports-hall floor. The hall is on the upper floors — leave extra time to get in and upstairs before the hour starts.
Why it makes the list: confirmed futsal goals plus one of the more reliable South London options for joining a Footy Addicts game rather than settling for outdoor 5-a-side. Clapham Common / Clapham South access makes it workable for a large chunk of south-of-the-river players, and the sessions tend to attract players who want a sharper tempo without requiring a fixed squad.

Want a central London court without dragging yourself to the suburbs? COLA Shoreditch Park’s indoor sports hall hosts recurring Footy Addicts futsal games — commonly weekday evenings such as Tuesday or Thursday — on a polyurethane sports-hall surface with flat-shoe only rules. The court sits upstairs in the school building, so follow the host’s entrance notes carefully (Hyde Road / Northport Street).
Why it makes the list: location. Haggerston and Hoxton are close enough that you can finish work in the City or Shoreditch and still make kick-off. Sessions are typically open to all levels, rotate keepers, and stay firmly in the social/pickup space while still feeling like proper indoor futsal.

Ark Walworth Academy near Elephant & Castle / Old Kent Road is a Footy Addicts venue known for indoor small-sided football and futsal-style sessions in South East London. It is a practical pick if you live in SE1–SE15 and want an indoor hard-court game without crossing half the city.
Why it makes the list: geographic balance. Between Walworth, Clapham, Shoreditch, Leyton, and Kilburn you can cover most of London’s travel corridors. Ark Walworth also suits players who want a regular SE London base for social games and are happy joining via Footy Addicts rather than organising a private hire.

Charteris still belongs on any London social-futsal shortlist — just not at the top if you are a purist about the kit. It has become a hub for organised pickup sessions (often listed under @charterisfutsal), with regular weekday evenings and Saturday morning slots. Games are typically 5v5 on a hard indoor floor, played with touchlines and FA-style futsal rules rather than wall-ball chaos, and the community is one of the strongest on this list.
The caveat: Charteris does not have proper futsal goals. For players who care about the full futsal look and feel — smaller goals, different angles, a true keeper’s frame — that is a meaningful miss, and it is why we have it fifth rather than first. The sessions remain inclusive, well established, and usually priced accessibly (often around £7), so it is still an excellent place to get a game; just go in knowing the goals are a compromise.
Arrive a little early — the centre can be fiddly to find the first time — and bring flat indoor shoes.

If a game shows a waiting list, join anyway — dropouts are common and spots often reopen.
These five are among the best options for joining a social futsal game today, but London has many more halls worth knowing for private hire, clubs, and training.
